«UBS Nominees» Closed Joint Stock Company being a part of UBS* Group is a company organized under the law of the Russian Federation. «UBS Nominees» CJSC is licensed by the Russian Federal Service for Financial Markets as a professional participant in the securities market for depository activities. "UBS Nominees" CJSC has been rendering depository services since 1998.

«UBS Nominees» CJSC provides both Russian and foreign clients with a wide scope of custody and ancillary services in the securities market, including:

• opening and maintaining depot account, interdepository account, trustee account and pledge account;
• securities safekeeping as nominal holder;
• holding book-entry securities on segregated customer accounts;
• securities settlements (through registrars and sub-custodians);
• corporate actions (proxy voting, nomination to the boards of directors, dividend/interest payment repatriation).

For the convenience of our clients, «UBS Nominees» CJSC has opened and maintained about 450 accounts at more than 70 registrars, maintained nominal holder accounts at 8 sub-custodians, including the main settlement depositories.

Participation in Russian self-regulatory and other organizations

«UBS Nominees» CJSC is a member of the Professional Association of Registrars, Transfer Agents and Depositories (PARTAD). Many of UBS staff members participate in various committees and working groups of sub-custodians and other organizations including Ros SWIFT, DCC, NDC and NAUFOR.
